Glass Filled Nylon PA12 (PA 3200 GF) is a special-use engineering grade polyamide ideal for applications that require high rigidity. Glass Filled Nylon PA12 offers balanced mechanical properties and is ideal for producing functional prototypes as well as end-use parts for demanding applications such as aerospace and automotive. Glass filled nylon using SLS 3D Printing technology offers an excellent alternative to injection molding for low volume production needs.
Forge Labs uses EOS nylon powder filled with glass beads, which offers balanced mechanical properties. The raw material is a granular white plastic with excellent fine-feature resolution and surface finish
PA 3200 GF is biocompatbile according to EN ISO 10993-1 and USP/Level VI/121 °C.
