Success Stories
Real results from our film & entertainment partnerships
Come to Daddy - Receipt Spike Prop
Complex prop fabrication for Come to Daddy, a black comedy feature starring Elijah Wood. The character has a cast-iron receipt spike stabbed through his cheek - an effect requiring real props rather than CGI. The prop was designed in two components: a false cheek holding the base of the receipt spike, and a spike mounted on a dental appliance inside the mouth. Since it had to hang off his face, the base needed to be extremely lightweight, durable, easy to paint, and completed fast - making it perfect for Accura 25 SLA 3D printing.
Superhero Film Costume Integration
Developed lightweight armor components for major superhero production, integrating LED lighting systems and mechanical articulation points. Achieved 40% weight reduction compared to traditional fabrication while maintaining visual impact and performer comfort throughout extended filming.
