Information we collect and use

We collect personal information from you, your use of our services and the providers described below:

• Accounts and communications. Names, contact details, company information, login details and correspondence to manage your account and respond to you. If you use Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier and basic profile information, including your name and email address.
• Quotes and orders. CAD files, drawings, specifications, quote and order history, delivery details and related communications to prepare quotes, analyse manufacturability, produce parts and fulfil orders. This includes information contained in uploaded files and the results of our processing.
• Billing and tax. Billing details, payment and transaction records, purchase orders and tax exemption information or certificates to process payments, issue invoices and maintain accounting and tax records.
• Website and Portal activity. IP addresses, device and browser information, page visits, account activity and advertising identifiers to operate and secure our services, diagnose problems, understand usage and measure marketing performance.

We also use contact information to send service communications and, where permitted by law, marketing emails. Please provide another person’s information only if you are authorised to do so.

Consent and your choices

When you provide information to register, request a quote or place an order, we rely on your consent to use and share it for those purposes. We obtain additional consent where required by law. You can withdraw consent by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. Withdrawing consent for information needed to provide a service may prevent us from providing that service.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, analytics and advertising measurement. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure website and Portal activity, including quote and purchase activity linked to account identifiers.

Optional analytics and advertising measurement is enabled by default for visitors in Canada and the United States. Canadian visitors receive an initial opt-out notice. Supported Global Privacy Control signals are honored automatically. Optional measurement remains disabled for visitors outside Canada and the United States or when location cannot be determined.

You can turn off optional website cookies through Cookie settings in the forgelabs.com footer. These settings apply to the public website. For privacy requests concerning your Portal account, including withdrawal of consent to optional analytics or advertising measurement, contact us below. Essential storage supports functions such as sign-in and security.

Sharing and processing

We share information as needed with hosting and storage providers, payment processors including Stripe, accounting and tax service providers, delivery companies, communications and technical support providers, and manufacturing partners to carry out the purposes described above. If you share a quote link, recipients can access the information available through that link.

Information may be processed or stored in Canada, the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. It may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and other authorities under the laws of those countries. We remain responsible for information handled by our service providers and use contractual or other safeguards to protect it.

We may also disclose information as permitted or required by law, including to address fraud, respond to lawful requests or complete a business transaction subject to applicable privacy protections.

Protection and retention

We use reasonable physical, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and applicable legal or business requirements, then securely delete or anonymise it. Closing an account does not remove records we must retain, including accounting and tax records.

Access, corrections and privacy concerns

To request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent, or raise a privacy concern, contact our Operations Manager at admin@forgelabs.com or 1-877-329-9131. We may verify your identity before responding and will handle requests within the time required by applicable law.
