2D to 3D File conversion

2D - 3D File Conversions

We produce detailed, accurate models from Sketchup, Revit, and AutoCad files. By ensuring files are watertight and adjusting critical dimensions, we can rapidly produce error-free 3D printed scale models without needing to completely remodel the existing files, saving time and money. The resulting 3D model can then be saved in a variety of file formats, such as STL, OBJ, VRML, PLY, and others, for use in various applications, including 3D printing, animation, and virtual reality.

How to Work With Us

Our Digital Architectural Modeling Process

Creating architectural models through Forge Labs is a quick and streamlined process. Designers begin by submitting their 3D digital model to us, ensuring it meets our file format requirements. If it doesn't, we work directly with you to ensure the manufacturability of your designs in the real world. Once ready, the digital design is then uploaded to our manufacturing platform, where we collaborate with designers to select the material, size, and scale for the model and provide a cost estimate.

Forge Labs utilizes our industrial-grade 3D printers to manufacture the model, conducting quality checks before carefully packaging and shipping the final model directly to you. The model can be optionally finished with painting or polishing, ensuring you receive a high-quality, accurate representation of your architectural designs for presentations and client meetings.
