Nylon PA12 | Material Overview

Nylon PA12 (PA2200) is a general-use engineering grade polyamide known for its high durability, chemical resistance and excellent surface finish. Nylon PA12 is one of the widest used plastics in industrial additive manufacturing and is suitable for both prototyping as well as a substitute to injection molding plastics for low to mid volume production.

Forge Labs uses EOS high performance nylon powder which offers the industries best mechanical properties. The raw material is a granular white plastic that can be easily dyed or painted to achieve a range of finishes.

PA 2200 is biocompatbile according to EN ISO 10993-1 and USP/Level VI/121 °C.
