Material Overview

ABS-ESD7 is a acrylonitrile butadiene styrene material with electrostatic dissipative properties for applications where a static charge could destroy electronic components, impair their performance, alter magnetic media or cause fire or explosions. ABS-ESD7 will not produce a static shock or cause other materials like powders, dust and fine particles to stick to it.

Forge Labs uses Stratasys ABS-ESD7 material which has a surface resistance of  >104 ohms/square < 109 ohms/square and allow for dissipation of electrical charges generally within milliseconds. Parts are produced on the Stratasys Fortus series printers, which offers the industries highest tolerances & part repeatability.
